Case Study - Food is GREAT
In 2015, Visit Kent submitted a successful joint bid for £95,000 to Visit Britain’s GREAT UK Challenge Fund to promote Kent’s superior food and drink offer to international visitors and trade producers.
Working with lead partner Kent County Council, and Produced in Kent, Visit Kent devised the tourism arm of the bid and was awarded £10,000 to deliver a dedicated marketing plan to raise the profile of Kentish food and drink to international audiences.
The team produced a branded poster campaign with cross-Channel transport operators, digital promotions and competitions through our websites and social media channels, promotional stands at UK and European trade shows and public transport hubs, dedicated press trips and e-newsletters.
